The only thing I can figure with Arvie is that Faircloth is either holding him as a wild card to throw in if we get into a bad position in the playoffs or trying to beef up Bertrand's stats by giving him the ball more. Neither reason seems to make much sense, but I'm not the coach.

I'd still put Lumberton at the bottom unless something in that program changes soon, but the other six teams would all be in the hunt year in and year out. And with another week open for a pre-season game, the coaches and teams would be that much more prepared for district play.

Based on what Soulja has said this year, it sounds like coaching and motivation are the problems. That's a shame, especially when Central has the athletes and the reputation of a deep playoff team. That said, they have nothing to lose and I'm sure they want to end their season on a high note. It would be foolish to overlook them because of their record. Thankfully, Faircloth is no fool. The Indians will come out strong and do their best to bring home a 7-3 record and continue the win streak.
