I said it at the beginning of the year that if Vidor makes the playoffs, they will need to have a passing game to compete and so far they havent implemented much of one.
That's the whole thing. Vidor needs to use that backup QB more. He has the arm. Put him in the game. You can't go into the playoffs and expect to get very far without a passing game.
 2.
Careful, PNG has bad memories about that chant!
... shut up... ;D
Hey Lions #80. Where ya at? You have some crow to eat.
I don't think he/she is coming back.
 3.
PNG vs.  Dayton.  WAY too much purple in one place for me Bandkid! ;D
You should see PN-G in a state championship. ;D
 4. I know the last time the Dogs had an outright title was 1966, but was that also the last time they were undefeated in district? Congrats either way.
So we get Ozen or Livingston depending on tomorrow's game?
Bingo.
 6.
Looks like this: Div. 1: Nederland Beaumont Ozen Div. 2: Vidor PNG If Ozen wins tomorrow, I believe they will be the Div. 1 seed out of 20-4A instead of Vidor; I think their enrollment is bigger. If not, just reverse Vidor and Ozen.
Ozen's enrollment is only about 1200. They're smaller than both Vidor and PN-G.
 7. Congrats, Pirates! So Ozen's going to the playoffs....
 8. Now run it once or twice and take a knee.
 9. Come on, Pirates. Pull this one out.
 10. PN-GISD's Ridgewood Elementary has been entered in a contest to win $50,000 and faculty iPads. You can help by texting Clorox7350 to 44144. Votes are accepted once per day from each phone. The text costs nothing more than your standard messaging rate. Help bring money home to a Southeast Texas school!

Or is it LUNCH? :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
What? Girlfriend or football player?
Wait a minute, are you seriously the girlfriend?
 12.
Oh we will. Is there any chance we would play BH in the playoffs? This is a different Nederland team than what they faced early in the season. I'm sure they are too, but IMO we would flatten them if we played again.
No. BH is DII and Nederland will always be DI in this district.

 14. PN-G's overall record through last week's game is 535-316-33. The Indians were the 60th team in UIL history to reach the 500 win mark. [Hidden Content] It's disappointing that the other site doesn't have us listed.

 17.
Who needs to win/lose so that BH plays the Indians?
If Livingston goes to the playoffs, we play Barbers Hill. Livingston has to beat Vidor tomorrow night for this to happen. If Ozen goes to the playoffs, we play Dayton. Vidor has to beat Livingston tomorrow night for this to happen. Both of these cases assume that we beat Central tomorrow night.
 18. The only thing I can figure with Arvie is that Faircloth is either holding him as a wild card to throw in if we get into a bad position in the playoffs or trying to beef up Bertrand's stats by giving him the ball more. Neither reason seems to make much sense, but I'm not the coach.

North Forest will no longer be a school next year. The school is closing and those students will be moved into other schools. 19-4A will lose a school because of this so actually, 19-4A could take in a Livingston and keep the district numbers the same. 20-4A would be short.
Which I think would be acceptable to all of the involved schools.
I agree. But 6 games for district would definitely make the playoff picture a lot more muddy lol.
In 20-4A, definitely. I'd still put Lumberton at the bottom unless something in that program changes soon, but the other six teams would all be in the hunt year in and year out. And with another week open for a pre-season game, the coaches and teams would be that much more prepared for district play.

 23. Based on what Soulja has said this year, it sounds like coaching and motivation are the problems. That's a shame, especially when Central has the athletes and the reputation of a deep playoff team. That said, they have nothing to lose and I'm sure they want to end their season on a high note. It would be foolish to overlook them because of their record. Thankfully, Faircloth is no fool. The Indians will come out strong and do their best to bring home a 7-3 record and continue the win streak.
