Well this aint stopping yet so everyone should've stayed home today. Its pulling moisture from the gulf right up the Sabine river corridor.

That would be a question to ask your local Mayor and County officials. 409-385-2863 would be a good starting point for your friend.

Vidor lost the most power in Orange County. WOC may be like LCM with out of area staff who lost power.

Barely a drop in Kingwood. My weather station in Livingston showed a gust up to 57 mph, but steady 30-40 mph winds. Only 2 inches of rain, but i feel it is more.

Week 2 and mother nature is still undefeated. This is a perfect example that nobody knows what gonna happen with these. Best storm models and meteorologist didnt predict this. We appreciate their insights but who else can be wrong 50% and still keep their job? Maybe high school coaches. Sunrise will be beautiful. Hope for a better day for Setx. Can't wait for game day.

Hope everyone good in Hardin County. I see it's bad outside there this morning. No Wi-Fi or cable or house phone here in Port Arthur. -
It’s been a rough night here in Silsbee.

You are correct… totally agree.

Lights came on by LSCPA around 1am. I think lightning hit something. -
No damage that I'm aware of yet, but still no power. I'm up looking at radar and it looks like north of Beaumont is getting hammered now. Hopefully our generator will run a while longer before it runs out of gas.

Nederland needs to run #2 more.i thought they gave WB a gift in this win.they should've not put #10 back in the game.the kid was hurt.if they had left #2 in I really do believe nederland would have won this game.they we're at WB 30 with 3minutes to go and WB had 2 time outs left.

Districts Cancelling or Delaying Due To Tropical Disturbance
WOSdrummer99 replied to oldman's topic in High School Football
Kfdm weather station at port of pa had gust 90. Not sure if any other topped that. Its picking up again here in Orange as the we catch the tail end. It aint over yet. I hear the fat lady warming up. She'll be singing soon -
This was what turned things around here. Khelvy would still be running for 2k yards while we gave up... 48 Silsbee 58 Newton 49 Bellville 42, 44 La Vega 49 Carthage Only gave up 40+ 8x in previous 45 seasons btw. Im not being negative. Stating facts. Point is the staff can change philosophy and find traditional ways of winning again. Bashing "talentless" kids is worse than hating on coaches. It's not all about the "dudes" and they shouldn't be subject to that filth.

Houston loses 5-1. Arlington won Astros lead is 1.

Because a team allowed 33 points that means they have no talent? So Newton, who gave up 44, has no talent? Palestine Westwood gave up 48, no talent? Lufkin gave up 59, no talent? Huntsville gave up 49, no talent? La Porte gave up 51, no talent? PN-G gave up 35, no talent? La Marque gave up 35, no talent? DeSoto gave up 38, no talent? Aledo gave up 28, no talent? Duncanville gave up 28, no talent? I could go on. It's pretty asinine to think that a team has no talent because they gave up 33 points in a football game. Particularly to a team that has a pretty good offense.
