DCTF computer rankings had Navasota ranked #13 last week in 4A DI. Vidor was ranked #51. State poll for this week will be out shortly. Computer rankings for this week come out Wednesday morning.

Competition level definitely helps, not playing in the district of doom will help anyone lol. The team is better overall in my opinion and will continue to get better.

Whats the scoop on Navasota? Dont know much about them but i hear theyre typically pretty decent. Im gonna go Vidor 31-28. Vidor fixes some issues and plays better this week.

West Orange by as much as theyd like. See bc scoring 7-10 later in game. Gonna go with a 50-10 score or similar. West Orange defense gonna be to fast and athletic for BC offense imo

Hard to compare any of Tarkington athletics to last year, they will be better across the board this year just by moving down and playing more manageable schedules. Not sure if that is going to be actively better or worse than the last two years, but it will look better because of 3A. They were 4-6 both seasons in the last 3A realignment.

I’d put Crosby and Friendswood against any 9-5A team not named PAM last year and feel pretty good about my chances. Crosby wasn’t 52-6 last year. It was a one score game.
