At my last count, in state elections so far in 2026, 39 seats have flipped from red to blue. And no seats have flipped from blue to red……..I believe the blue wave is coming.

I believe some, not necessarily you are hoping this mission is a failure because they want Trump to fail. That is sad - opposing the war is fine, if that is your opinion. I personally think it is a noble mission.

I didn't avoid Fauci. We were talking about war. But since you asked, yes, they need to hang Fauci. He's right there with the iran devils.

Thank your son for his service. Worked with a man who had two daughters in the Navy. I asked where they were and he said on carriers. I told him they were in the safest place in the world. I hope we lose no more soldiers. Unfortunately, that’s not realistic. I pray this is over shortly. Trump predicts 4-5 weeks. As much as we hate war, sometimes it has to be done.

There’s no such thing anymore. Through February the federal government borrowed $43.5 billion a week. I don’t mind going into debt for things I need i.e. house, car, or other major capital outlays. I don’t mind borrowing as a taxpayer for public works, healthcare and groceries for those who can’t afford it, defense of our nation, etc. I do mind going into debt to finance the greatest transfer of wealth from the bottom to the top in history. It’s not what we borrow, but what we do with it.

My son did 20 years’ service starting in 1993. I thank God every day he was in the Navy. I have always and will always support our troops. That’s why it is incumbent on every one of us to hold our leaders to account when they send our sons and daughters into harms way. We are owed an explanation as to the scope and goals of the sacrifice. We’ve gotten neither from the current administration. Opposing Trump’s war is not dishonoring the troops.

The U.S. military has never lost a conflict on the actual battlefield.

I said in other threads that I wasn’t a personal fan of this effort and gave my reasons. Those reasons were based off history, current info, and experience. I even referenced my concern in this thread. But, I never once declared this effort good or bad. A decision was made by the people with the information to make the decision. Since it’s done, it’s time to support those tasked with carrying out their mission, and hope for their success and safety.

Well, call me crazy, but when’s the last time we swooped in and brought about a successful regime change? “It’s gonna be different this time because Trump is in charge!” No, it’s not. Those people were scrapping for centuries before we got mad about taxes on our tea… the only thing that’s happened in the last 70 years is we’ve lost every conflict we’ve gotten ourselves into. Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Iran. You could say that we won in Desert Storm, but the fact remains that we didn’t finish the job and had to go back. It’s hard to call that a win. I guess we can celebrate our big win in Grenada back in the day. This is Trumps war… he wanted it. He started it, and now it’s going to play out however it plays out.
