Yes it’s just fans have been spoiled it’s Ben at least 20 years of Silsbee competing on a 5a 6a level never worrying about district no disrespect to any other district team but we knew if we didn’t win a championship in football that we always had Basketball and adjusted to coming down from what our fans have grown used to seeing is tough to swallow we know these young men are working hard and the coaching transition but Coach Sig was there when I graduated in 1990 fans aren’t used to seeing Silsbee struggling especially in Basketball I give much respect to these young men that have to deal with change from what they were taught under coach Sig and our fans have to be patient with Change. -
Good luck to y'all as well... We could end up d2 depending on how good Academy, Cameron, and Rockdale are this season. We are returning a good group of kids including 4 of our 5 pitchers.

Pretty amazing to me that there is clear video of the officer being hit by the car, clear precedent and case law showing why the officer was justified in the shooting, commentary from almost every legal expert in the country saying he was justified, etc... And yet somehow half the country (including politicians and law enforcement higher ups) is still screaming that this is murder.

not bad teams, for the most part. but the only schools that get leeway with their losses in the rankings are the dallas and houston area schools (and silsbee, for several years) who are playing top-10 6A-5A teams throughout their pre-district schedule. -

Who Funds the Groups Harassing ICE Agents in Minnesota? The Left's Premier Foundations and Dark Money Networks Have Given Millions, Records Show. From the article: "At the center of the unrest is the Sunrise Movement, a left-wing group founded to fight climate change that has since directed its local chapters to fight the Trump administration. Sunrise is bankrolled by a who's who of deep-pocketed left-wing organizations. Open Society Foundations has sent it $2 million since 2019, according to its grant database. Half of the money supported general "social welfare activities." The Ford Foundation contributed $150,000 in 2024 and $550,000 in 2025, while the MacArthur Foundation—the 12th-largest private charity in America—gave $250,000 in 2024, according to tax filings and grant disclosures. Sunrise says it generally rejects "checks that come with expectations of input on our strategy." It also says donations go to support its local chapters with "materials, housing, technology, food, travel, training expenses, and more." Sunrise Twin Cities has collaborated with two other local groups to drive anti-ICE demonstrations: Unidos MN and Defend the 612." [Hidden Content]

A pardon cannot be for a future crime. -
You can expose the payers if you want. What’s the crime though? OMG, it’s the George Soros group! We can prove it! Charge them with…. uhhh….. charge them with…. Let me get back to you.
-
They might be able to stretch it into some kind of conspiracy but they crime would not be the pay but the plan to commit (at least in Texas) a felony. Merely planning a crime is not in itself a crime. It would have to be proven that 3 or more people got together and planned on committing a felony and at least one person in the conspiracy did an overt act to further the felony. At least under Texas law, saying that I’ll give you $50 if you go stand on the corner with a sign saying whatever I want like the police are there gestapo, is in itself not a crime that I know of.

Its going to be hard for PNG to make it in. Losing home games to teams where you had a chance to win can doom you. Now they have to travel to BH & Sterling and we know what happens out there lol !!! -
Bridge City 71 Silsbee 57/FINAL
AggiesAreWe replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
I have seen mass exodus from BC fans in the past. Just sayin. Foul and FT count discrepancies always happen on the home court. Even at Bridge City. Like last night, most times the better teams overcome those discrepancies. Part of the game. -
The 55-51 game was by far the more accurate game. I can link much better game footage than HUDL for anyone to make that assessment. Even in the 72-55 game, the score was 36-32 at half time. In any game, the more aggressive team fouls more especially if they’re playing full court defense for 32 minutes. Somehow every time a game is played at Silsbee, they don’t call blatant fouls against them. That game last night lasted almost an hour and a half due to all of the soft calls. Seemed like an attempted bail out. It’s been no different in the past. Last night, Silsbee shot 32 free throws, BC shot 16 free throws and 4 flagrant shots. One ref called 18 fouls, one called 17 and the third called 3. I actually thought BC had a decent turnout considering the atmosphere that has been there in the past. The amount of law enforcement present speaks for itself on that one. No matter who is playing, the fans should stay till the final buzzer to support their team. Fans trickling out a couple at a time is less obvious than a mass exodus! Just sayin.

I 100% agree. But when calling out another fan base, make sure yours is not doing the same to what you are criticizing. I have seen many times Bridge City fans bail on their teams in the 2nd half of games. Particularly in Silsbee games at BC. -
