I saw this story a couple of days ago and didn’t bother to post because I knew that most here wouldn’t be able to grasp the complexities of it. And if they did, they’d justify the corruption since he’s a friend of Trump’s.
-
“Flynn acknowledged lying during the FBI interview by saying he had not discussed with the then-Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak, sanctions that had just been imposed on Russia for election interference by the outgoing Obama administration. During that conversation, Flynn urged Kislyak for Russia to be "even-keeled" in response to the punitive measures, and assured him "we can have a better conversation" about relations between the two countries after Trump became president. The conversation alarmed the FBI, which at the time was investigating whether the Trump campaign and Russia had coordinated to sway the election's outcome. In addition, White House officials were stating publicly that Flynn and Kislyak had not discussed sanctions.” [Hidden Content] Long story made short is that the FBI was interviewing Flynn about having conversations with Russian reps prior to the 2016 election, which Flynn denied. It turns out that he had, in fact, been negotiating with the Russians on Trumps behalf prior to the 2016 election. That’s the charge to which he pleaded guilty. Kinda like when Martha Stewart went to prison for lying to investigators.

It hit record highs. Now has come down. This is the way the world works. Nothing goes straight up. Buying opportunity!

I'm not mad that people can afford to go to a casino and have fun, while the owner makes a profit. Those don't seem like idiots to me. Inflation alone tells me you were not better.....or don't know you were better.
-
What crime did Gen Flynn commit?
-
Wasn't a member on here til 22' halfway in his term.. I was better off during biden than now! Hope yall get slaughtered November... crazy how ppl trust a casino owner lol.. got rich off idiots. Seems easier than initially thought

Read a little. He pleaded guilty when Trump was in office (2017) because he was guilty.
-
It says the same thing… that in 2017 (Trump was President) Flynn pled guilty of lying to the FBI about conversations that he had with Russians prior to Trump being elected. He was sentenced to prison. Trump pardoned Flynn in November of 2020 just before leaving office…. Between losing the election and the insurrection at the Capitol, lol. He wasn’t too busy to pardon Flynn. Trump has now authorized a payout to Flynn. Before accepting a plea, the court always requires the defendant to admit guilt (he did) and verify that no one is forcing them to plead guilty (he did). To me, it looks like a reward to Flynn for keeping his mouth shut about Trump’s involvement with the Russians, but what do I know? The difference between 2020 and 2026 is that they used to be independent. In 2020 they were allowed to prosecute crimes that occurred. In 2026 they are simply Trump’s personal vengeance team… just ask Jerome Powell.

Yall display it daily.. no argument there. Yall bragged on stock market now seem to be quiet... just waiting for it to climb then here comes the cult

You do understand the negotiations that go on between the most powerful DOJ and a civilian, right? Plead guilty and we stop or plead innocent and we drain you of every dollar and asset you have while you try and protect yourself. I'm sure you don't care to read all the emails being released about the lawfare the Biden justice dept did.... but it's not good. I guess you would only care if it affected you....maybe one day, who knows

So where did Toby go? Another job/Retire? Doesn't sound like he was forced out or run off. Hope he lands somewhere.

It’s going to take money, it’s no surprise that our facilities are the worst in the area. It’s going to take a combined commitment of administration and community.

Why do they align with the democrats? The answer is probably that they are a small percentage. I want ZERO communist in our government. [Hidden Content]

Flynn did the crime. Flynn PLEADED GUILTY, admitting that he did it. Then Trump pardoned Flynn and approved a settlement to compensate Flynn. Drain the swamp, huh? Every time Trump pardons a fraudster, the victims get knocked out of restitution. Do you even understand what you’re celebrating? There’s corruption going on in real time like this country has never seen.

I've advocated to facilities upgrades for forever on this site (since I created an account). I used to catch a lot of ridicule from the old school mentality of, "it was good enough for my grandparents.. it's good enough now".. when in reality, if you're not providing top notch facilities, then your kids will go somewhere that has them. It's recruiting without recruiting. Plus, knowing that these tax rate increases are so small in the grand scheme of things.. it's beyond my level of comprehension why communities wouldn't want a school they're proud to show off. There's an enormous sense of pride associated with knowing that other schools are potentially jealous of what you have when they come to visit. Just pass the bond. Upgraded facilities will have a positive impact on your students' experiences for long after you've died.

He did. Then he lost 50+ lawsuits trying to overturn the results based on fabricated claims of later fraud that were all debunked.
