We could probably go back to the founding of our country if we wanted. I've read where there were some pretty heated fights even back then. Still, we've always made it through. I suspect we will again. I really think it's just the margins right now anyway. May be wrong. But, I think most are somewhere in the middle. Trump has definitely done some stuff I don't agree with at all. But, he's also done some stuff where I do agree with him. To me, that's typical. As long as he keeps the Socialists at bay, I can look past some of the other. I sure wish he'd quit buying stakes in private businesses. To me, that's a slippery slope towards socialism and asking for trouble. Not a fan of the pattern.

The trade was strictly about the money. No question. I only made the comparison (actually, got the comparison off an X post) to show what the Astros were getting for $4.7 Mil less. Houston couldn't keep Dubon. I believe they got what they were expecting in return. A decent player off the bench.

We will learn of Lamar's destination in about 2 hours. Changes to the projection have occurred. The Arkansas projection of the 16th seed did not hold up and Mississippi State was named as a site and is likely the final host seed team. Baseball America has the Cards in that regional. D1 Baseball has them now going to College Station. Interesting if it holds up...both sites have Oregon State in the Oregon Regional. What a miracle that the seeding could work out so perfectly to match these 2 (yes, sarcasm on my part). Note: the tournament will have seeding for the top 32 teams for the first time. The most sought after ticket could be Arkansas at Nebraska in the 2nd day if that projection holds and both win the first day. Site distance for Arkansas may make them the "favorite" for largest visiting team fan numbers in the first round. If the D1 projection holds Aggie fans should be happy at the opportunity that sits in front of them. Will hope Lamar can pull an upset, but the other 2 are Cincinnati and Boston College. Both had quality season, but A&M should be a massive favorite overall. The bracket matches up with the Alabama Regional and Arizona State could take that one. If so, Aggies could host a Super as well. Almost all above is likely meaningless, as the odds of all 64 teams falling in the projected slots makes the word unlikely an insufficient term. Just a stitch head musing.

I did wonder on his first post. I think Porter called him out 1st. I was waiting on his “Well this is the way it is” type post coupled with his several paragraphs of “everything is Trump’s fault”……and here it is. CB……I think it’s amazing how one can reflect on the past 50 years and only see Trump as the divider-in-chief. That title belongs squarely to Obama. I agree and disagree Trump just matched the democrats in their game…and they don’t like it. He s just louder and because he was/is the president it just stands out more along with the media being mostly democrat leaning. i disagree with his antics and lack of tact….along with other decisions he s made but no way am I voting for open borders, trans, or baby killing.

You should have figured that out by his first post. This profile joined in 2010. Never posted (16 years) until the two previous incarnations vanished, and writing styles are like brush strokes. Just took him a couple days after TMB disappeared to get AAW to reset his password that he forgot. That’s why I asked him after about his second post how many profiles did he create.
