Sounds about right. You should only need 4 wins to guarantee a spot. 4 wins by two teams would knock out some of the possible tiebreakers. I think PAM can get there first because y’all’s Bye is later. It’s going to be hard to keep PAM & LP from making PO’s at this time. Both only need one more win to pretty much lock up a spot. The rest will be duking it out.

Heck of a job by the tigers to fight through an awful start to the game and turn it all the way around and end up with a fairly comfortable win

Y’all are gonna eventually need a passing attack better than what you showed against GCM. LP was in position to make some picks. They just didn’t complete. I think y’all probably will from—again—what I saw against GCM. With it being a rivalry game, and BWB being a better team than their record may show, it should be a fun game. I’d give the Bruins a chance. A very slim one. But, still a chance. I don’t think PAM will be able to just cruise. All I know right now is that LP is still on track to win their 4th District Championship in a row as banged up as they are—including the last time they were in 9-5A in 2023. 😎

It was a beaut, though. Into a 15 mph wind away from the returner and switched the field. He’s only had to punt 6 times in 5 games. He’s a very good place kicker, but IMO he could punt at a pretty high level in college. I’m going to talk to him about it and start making some calls and sending out some tape if he’s interested in pursuing it. His punting stats on max preps are way off

Looked like it to me as well. But, ruled no TD catch. It was a great catch to not get credited. He probably should have held onto the ball longer when he got up to prove the catch. The fumbles recovered by LP were clear as day on the game film I saw today. But, you have to be able to fight through that stuff and not let calls beat you. They did. So, that was good to me. I think PAM should be able to run okay on BWB. Bruins had an extra week to prepare & study, LP is on an all BU OL with at least one starter out for the year—maybe two—and pretty banged up and they said Simon still had around 250 & 3 TDs all on his own.

I give it one more drive and I'd pull the starters if I'm Elko.

I was thinking the same thing. Wouldn’t be surprised if they move up Gilmer and either wait a week and see if someone else loses to push in HF on their bye week, or else wait two weeks to see if they beat WOS and then move them in if they do. That said, I firmly believe HF is one of the top ten teams in 4A-D2.
