  2. I haven't been keeping up with them, but just offhand I wouldn't have thought so, for some reason. And btw I don't know what's happened with Lee over the years, they used to always field a pretty good team IIRC.
  3. PAM vs LP playoff history: La Porte 56 PAM 27 La Porte 56 PAM 28 La Porte 42 PAM 21 La Porte 6 PAM 34 La Porte has outscored PAM 160-110 in their PO history. Keep holding onto that one win. 😁
  4. I would have to give that some thought. But, what I cherish and miss is the after game parties that my parents and some very close friends of theirs from Jasper would host each year after the game. Dubose's and Foley's from Jasper were longtime friends of my parents and when the game was played in Jasper, one of those would host the after game party. My parents would host when it was played in Silsbee. That went on for many many years. Some really good times.

  6. 2nd round of playoffs would be the 20th. That's the Friday before that Monday the 23rd. I anticipate Silsbee to at least make the 2nd round. Even if they lose that game I don't expect too many varsity basketball players to suit up on that Monday.
  7. AggiesAreWe, what Silsbee vs Jasper games stands out to you the most? Mine would be 1993 Silsbee lost to Jasper in Jasper. Jay McGuire had about 252 yards rushing but got hurt in the 4th qtr on that small visitors sideline at the Alamo. 2023 Game OT win by Silsbee stopping Tyanthony Smith on the 2pt conversion.
  8. If Silsbee is still in the football playoffs, there will be plenty of seats.
  9. But, if Silsbee is somehow still in football playoffs, this game may not be played or it will be nothing but JV players for Silsbee. Silsbee has 90% of the varsity basketball players on the varsity football team.
  10. Hope it's streamed cause tickets gonna go quick I would think.
  11. That's correct. Nov. 23 at Kountze
  12. Is Kountze vs Silsbee happening this year ? hearing they are back on the schedule.

  21. Simon Andriesz, the British banker who dug Howard Lutnick's initials out of the Epstein files and handed the mess to House Oversight, is dead. The webzine, The Banker, says suicide. He was 57. He had worked under Lutnick at a Cantor Fitzgerald company. He is the man who found the emails Lutnick would rather you forget. Andriesz searched the Justice Department's Epstein dump for "HWL," because Cantor people liked to hide behind initials. What he pulled out wrecked the story Lutnick had been selling: that he cut Epstein off in 2005 after one look at a massage table. The files showed otherwise. A 2012 lunch on Little St. James with Lutnick's wife and children. Business overlap on a startup called Adfin. Epstein emailing the HWL account in 2018 to ask what he thought of the company's prospects. Lutnick told Congress that, to the best of his knowledge, he only learned this year that Epstein had been an investor. The Commerce Department's line was that there was no evidence of wrongdoing. Andriesz's finding was that the commerce secretary had been lying about a child sex trafficker he stayed in business with. A man exposes a sitting commerce secretary's lies and buried dealings with Jeffrey Epstein, the secretary is forced to walk back his own timeline, and weeks later the whistleblower is dead and the official explanation is suicide. Draw your own conclusion. Just don't pretend the pattern is subtle.
  22. Excellent analysis.
  23. The majority of starters will return next season as well. Only 5 seniors on the team.
