For the SFA game I know I’m looking far ahead… but I hope Lamar and Neches FCU can offer 1$ admission or something. The football teams needs your support and have that place packed with a sea of Red.. that game is looking like it will be for the SLC…. 99 did not play 1 down again Huffman. Also 22 did not play. Both help defense tremendously.

I did not see him in the Huffman game. Back up kicker too #17 was handling kicking I believe

Yep. He doesn't run at all. Zero read option plays. Last year Silsbee QB Johnson was much more of a threat running the ball. He rushed for over a 1000 yards last year. (passed for 1200 as well) Silsbee runs the ball with about 6 different backs. (5 now that one is out with ACL) Run mostly out of I and tandem. They will go shotgun some. Basically 50/50 between those formations unless Silsbee has a big lead then it's all I formation.

He absolutely played against Huffman. He left either late in the 3rd or early in the 4th, but he 100% played. It was IMPOSSIBLE not to notice him.

I thought he would be more dual threat. Maxpreps, which matches the stats above shows only 1 rushing TD. Possibly hasnt been needed in that role

Let me make a few phone calls.

Both are out for the season i believe. I dont think Silsbee defense can hold Jefferson under 200 yards. I do think Silsbee offense will move the ball on WOS.
