Yep you are right. He is only a Junior; therefore not being spoken to directly by scouts- because they cant. But he has people looking. Not my place to say who because he isnt my kid- but he is a good ball player to say the least.

college coaches can start talking to you july 1st of your jr summer going into your jr year

The water boy is right. You can be getting talked to and colleges can show interest your junior year but you can't officially start makin kids offers. This summer they can begin giving him offers. But until then only interst.

[/quote]I do know that the kid went to a college baseball prospect camp ( Login  Harrington ) in Bryan last summer and he was hitting 87-88 on the gun , I took my nephew to the same camp you can go online and check it out the names it shows the top speeds ,  also heard he has several colleges that are interested Just don't know which ones .
