**#5 SILSBEE vs. ATHENS Broadcast**/SILSBEE ADVANCES 96-84 IN 2OT!

The #5 ranked Silsbee Tigers will take on the Athens Hornets in a class 3A Region III semifinal at Johnson Coliseum on the campus of Sam Houston State University, TONIGHT 6:15pm. Silsbee (27-7) made their way to the regional tourney by defeating Splendora 71-56, Brookshire-Royal 69-57 and then Coldspring 57-51. Athens (26-12) earned their way to Huntsville with wins over Huntington 71-49, Mexia 72-50 and Fairfield 48-42 OT. The winner will advance to the regional finals Saturday to take on the winner of LaVega/Hardin-Jefferson.

Our broadcast will start at 6pm with the tip off to follow at 6:15pm.
