RaiderFan99 Posted March 3, 2006 Report Share Posted March 3, 2006 The Lumberton Baseball team could only be in 2 tournaments this year. They decided to not play in the Nederland tournament in the fall. They have plenty of arms, although not all of them are quality. I talk to Coach Buff regularly and trust me, he wouldn't cancel any tournaments because he doesn't have any pitching. They play Hardin-Jefferson tomorrow, it is a DH. RaiderFan99 Posted March 3, 2006 Report Share Posted March 3, 2006 It is that way throughout Lumberton in every sport. I believe the district didn't want kids missing too many days of school. I know I heard a lot of coaches upset at being able to only play 2 tournaments a year. This might change for next year. Basketball Volleyball and baseball could only play in 2 tournaments.
