Guest coachacola
Ozen offensive linemen Daniel Lamelle and John Prescott orally committed to play football at Lamar University but will await offers from other schools, both said Thursday. Lamelle said he accepted a scholarship offer to play football at Lamar but is hopeful of receiving an offer from Georgia Tech, he said. Prescott said he accepted a scholarship offer from Lamar but will consider other options if presented. Prescott said he is interested in Central Arkansas, which is in the Southland Conference with Lamar. badndn
???? that's not much of a committment. Sort of a slap in the face! "Yes, I will marry you, but If so and so asks I will marry him" "Sure I l go to the prom with you, but if GT asks, you should bring the tux back!" It's what you call a soft verbal... recruiting can be a dirty game, but if you want to get good players you have to go along. I don't blame him from taking an offer in a BCS conference over Lamar. texasstud28
Sounds like Lamar is a consolation prize. Go play somewhere else if that's your attitude.

lu cards
i cant fault the kid but i think a lot of people around here are tired of lamar taking a backseat.we can have a good d-1 program in beaumont, texas.just need everyone to buy in and it will happen.as far as the pro's go.if you can play they'll find you.
