What happened to my reply, I did not mention anyone's name. I was posing a question to see if what I heard about the HF program not being able to cut anyone was true. I do not see the harm in that. I must have hit a nerve with someone.????? That is what this thread is about.

The way this thread is going we sure don't want to delete anyone's post. Me and Coop post enough on this board, it's nice to see someone else post on the baseball portion.

Post it again.  The gremlins must have removed it.

I was asking about HF BB,I heard that the AD was not going to let the BB coach cut anyone. If he is going to be judged on wins and loses this is a load of crap. This is high school BB not LL. The next thing that is coming is unhappy parents about playing time. when you have to carry 15-18 players on a team. I just wanted to hear from someone from HF and see what others thought about not being able to cut players. That is all I was asking, touched a nerve somewhere

Just because you carry them doesn't mean you have to play them.  There are only 9 positions.

15-18 IMO is not to many to carry. I'm sure some will cut themselves after a cpl of weeks into practice, probablly sooner. The BB coach @ HF knows what it takes to get where the dedicated players want to go and will not stop short of having them condititioned and ready. I'm sure HF will once again surprise more than a few again this yr. You'll never get politics or brown nosing out of HS sports.

HF doesn't have enough players to make the usual 3 teams so they have to split up the rest between 2 teams.  There will be a lot of bench warming going on out there.  They need to do something to raise the interest in the baseball program.  Last year I believe they only had 2 Freshman playing.  What happened to all of the little leaguers?  They are pulled between all of the sports and forced to choose their favorites.  This is tough in a 3A school there aren't enough kids to spread around.

    • 🤣🤣🤣  Right on schedule!!
    • You’re quibbling over the word “most”.  I agree that the UK is our most important military ally but we have overwhelming other support from Europe through NATO.   What other support do we have in the Middle East?  What are the “most” important issues? Military strength or intelligence that might head off the need for military action? It’s certainly debatable.  I honestly wouldn’t argue with any points on which if the most critical to our interests. I am sure that people can make valid arguments from different points of view. Military? The UK. Middle East intelligence? Israel.  As far as Israel, SmashMouth said that they “may very well be” the most important. ”May be” is not an adamant statement but a suggestion. They might be… depending on what the discussion is about. Worrying about the word “most” (especially “may be”) seems to be the definition of trivial.
    • That would be cool. LP could potentially host some other playoff games too. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
