I never saw Abbott losing, and he lost big. A lot of talk, focus and hundreds of millions spent on the senate race. Texas has become one of, if not the top state for industry in the nation. Companies can’t move here fast enough. This may be the beginning of a slow nose dive. It makes me sad for the great state of Texas.

More than anything I think this vote was a referendum against school vouchers, with a healthy dose of Trump fatigue thrown in.

I admit that I am not happy about our state turning blue but I always thought it needed some purple shade.

I believe as far as the state of Texas goes, the Democrats didn't win this election. The Republicans lost it.

Republicans turned the ball over too many times, both inside the opponent 10 and near their own goal line. Costly TO's that lost them the game.

One of those cases of the "better team lost".
