AggiesAreWe Posted Monday at 02:38 PM Report Posted Monday at 02:38 PM This game is for the district championship. Massey projections has this one 43-14 Orangefield Not sure I completely agree with that point spread. We will see. Thoughts? bullets13 1 Quote
BobCat22 Posted Monday at 03:36 PM Report Posted Monday at 03:36 PM It’s going to be closer than that. Anyone know why this district is playing so many Thursday games? Quote

kirkwood29 Posted Monday at 03:45 PM Report Posted Monday at 03:45 PM I could and will probably be wrong, but my gut instinct says Orange is 15 points better. Quote
navydawg31 Posted yesterday at 01:22 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:22 AM Glad to see schools doing that! Pack the bus and support the school, Quote
CDub86 Posted yesterday at 01:32 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:32 AM Genuinely curious, did anyone see Anahuac here play for DC? Newish to the district and seemed like all the hype was on OF and EC. Quote

Newish to the district and seemed like all the hype was on OF and EC. Certainly not after the horrendous season they had a year ago (considering they did finish 4th) but the game I saw against a district opponent, they did NOT cross the 50 yard line and looked very young and inexperienced. What a difference a year makes. CDub86 1 Quote
CDub86 Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM They look good man and it shows on the field for sure. Quote
Eazy Posted yesterday at 02:23 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:23 AM EC gave away their opportunities for a DC. Orangefield by 21 to win the District. Quote
Bobcats0809 Posted yesterday at 03:05 AM Report Posted yesterday at 03:05 AM I watched the Anahuac & EC game, EC was the far better team, they just couldn’t get out of their own way. Idk if Ceasar was hurt in the second half, but he barely got the ball. That being said, anything is possible with 16 & 17 year old kids, but I imagine OF rolls in this one. Quote

Bobcat101 Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago With the addition of the extra RB, Orangefield has sufficient talent to establish the run as a threat & open back up the passing game which I hope will be more consistent. Orangefield did improve on passing & I hope to continue that improvement. If the Bobcats are going to make a deep run it takes all 3 phases of the game & 2 out of 3 isn’t good enough. With that said, Orangefield by 14.5. Quote

kirkwood29 Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago How long has this district been playing on Thursday nights? It seems like they adopted the idea nearly a decade ago? Maybe not quite that long. Quote

Several of the schools don't want to use the Houston Chapter like lot's of schools in this area have turned to. kirkwood29 1 Quote
