Wow.  This is looking like mainly a rain event but its not going to be fun trying to get kids out of school in the middle of a storm.  We do need the rain though everything is crispy!

My yard looks like a desert. Needles. I'm only worried about tornadoes and lightning. I hope it rains off and on 2 days straight from this if possible.

LPISD just cancelled this morning. I’m actually hoping for a good 2-3”, as long as it’s spread over a couple days. Can’t water the slab fast enough, and we’re one of the few on our block that haven’t had to have foundation repair yet.

I'd hope Silsbee uses some common sense and ends school early.

yeah , i have mowed high the last couple of weeks and just watered the front.  I don't care if the back burns up.

My school didn't cancel, but every school district and a college area I drove through to get here cancelled. I may have used a few choice words on the way in this morning.

I heard that the highest gust in Port Arthur was 92 mph.  Lots of trees down in PA and Groves.  Power still out here in Labelle area.  Hopefully we're done now.

Kfdm weather station at port of pa had gust 90. Not sure if any other topped that. Its picking up again here in Orange as the we catch the tail end. It aint over yet. I hear the fat lady warming up. She'll be singing soon
