I would say move it from San Antonio...Austin was the best fit but hotel avalibility is a problem around that time...And yes 100% agree the semi-final games should return to State, and yes I understand why they changed it because they created 2 divisions per class....

I loved the Drum, seating and atmosphere but the traffic, parking and hotels became a problem. Was hard to go eat between games and get back in time. 
At SA one can be at the Alamo Dome in five minutes from the hotel. Great location but the arena could be more basketball friendly.

I agree. Alamodome's location is great but its a dump compared to most other large arenas. UIL needs to work with the Spurs and secure their new downtown arena for the State tourney when it is built.

I approve of this message.

But I will still take the Alamodome if it means keeping the tourney in SA.

I hope it never ever goes back to Austin. Also, I don't want it in DFW.

UIL basketball should be in Houston. 

DFW has Football, 

Austin/RR CenTex has baseball/ Softball

Houston should get Basketball.
