It’s not the American taxpayers responsibility to pay for other countries freedom without reimbursement. The only times I remember being attacked on our soil is Pearl Harbor and 9-11. Pearl Harbor we knew who the adversary was but 9-11 is debatable. The only other time we were attacked it was self inflicted with the plandemic and Anthony Fauci. I have yet to see any accountability with the plandemic that destroyed and killed hundreds of thousands of Americans. You almost sound giddy that we are in another conflict. We’ve spent 8 trillion dollars in the Middle East since going into Iraq. What have Americans gained by doing so? Not giddy. Just understand sometimes there is a need to do the right thing. BTW, I don't think Germany made an attack on American soil. Anyway, Since day one when Iran held our people hostage and all the killings of Americans since, don't you think that's an attack on America? The have been the #1 state sponsor of terrorism around the world. They were a cancer that NEEDED to be dealt with. Trump dealt with it. It was not a diversion!

Awesome then they can write the check for the cost of this war along with Israel. Oh that’s right Israel doesn’t have any money or they wouldn’t be taken billions of dollars from us. Our CIA installed this regime decades ago that was just taken out. You better hope something worse doesn’t get installed. Do really think the CIA isn’t going to make sure this war gets dragged out long term because of the hate they have towards Trump. You still never answered my question what has the American Taxpayer gained for the 8 trillion dollars spent in the Middle East since the Iraq war besides devaluing our dollar? I see you also avoided why Anthony Fauci hasn’t been held responsible for his crimes against humanity. I tell you what why don’t you start paying for everyone out of your own pocket that can’t afford a security system for their home in your neighborhood, I mean it’s the right thing to do.

Well, call me crazy, but when’s the last time we swooped in and brought about a successful regime change? “It’s gonna be different this time because Trump is in charge!” No, it’s not. Those people were scrapping for centuries before we got mad about taxes on our tea… the only thing that’s happened in the last 70 years is we’ve lost every conflict we’ve gotten ourselves into. Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Iran. You could say that we won in Desert Storm, but the fact remains that we didn’t finish the job and had to go back. It’s hard to call that a win. I guess we can celebrate our big win in Grenada back in the day. This is Trumps war… he wanted it. He started it, and now it’s going to play out however it plays out.

I said in other threads that I wasn’t a personal fan of this effort and gave my reasons. Those reasons were based off history, current info, and experience. I even referenced my concern in this thread. But, I never once declared this effort good or bad. A decision was made by the people with the information to make the decision. Since it’s done, it’s time to support those tasked with carrying out their mission, and hope for their success and safety. baddog and thetragichippy 2

I thank God every day he was in the Navy. I have always and will always support our troops. That’s why it is incumbent on every one of us to hold our leaders to account when they send our sons and daughters into harms way. We are owed an explanation as to the scope and goals of the sacrifice. We’ve gotten neither from the current administration. Opposing Trump’s war is not dishonoring the troops.

Thank your son for his service. Worked with a man who had two daughters in the Navy. I asked where they were and he said on carriers. I told him they were in the safest place in the world. I hope we lose no more soldiers. Unfortunately, that’s not realistic. I pray this is over shortly. Trump predicts 4-5 weeks. As much as we hate war, sometimes it has to be done.

I believe some, not necessarily you are hoping this mission is a failure because they want Trump to fail. That is sad - opposing the war is fine, if that is your opinion. I personally think it is a noble mission. Reagan 1
