Newton vs Wall- State Championship

I watched the Wall/Gunter Game and from what I saw I believe Newton should take this pretty easily, but then I think back to the Kirbyville State championship runs and I remember thinking they should win these games easily too, but they met teams like pilot point and Muleshoe and got smoked. So idk. Lol! .

Newton has faced a Vanderbilt QB commit two years in a row too be fair… but I agree the Wall QB is damn good

The two defense ends for Newton are a matchup problem for Wall's offensive line

Idk. Them some good size boys that seem to move pretty good. I feel Newton will do Newton things and bring the pressure often.

I didn't know anything about Wall.  But I see comments here about Newton is gonna basically do a stompin.  Then I see where Wall is undefeated and ranked number 2 in the State.  So, I gotta wonder!

I don't think Wall has seen the speed of Newton I will say i think this matchup is more compelling than Gunter vs. Newton would have been. If Wall can get the ball out to those receivers quick itll be a good match-up

Key word IF lol which is not going to happen. Let's not even get to Wall trying to stop Newton's offense. We know that that's never going to happen. They may keep it semi close in the first half but it'll be all Newton in the 2nd half.

Hey my friend. yes Newton has a loss where Wall doesn't. But think about where the team that beat Newton is at th I s point.  You know you need not wonder.

I think wall will have alot of slow methodical drives where as newton will score quick contrast of styles

Looks like Wall probably has the best OLine Newton has seen this year other than WOS maybe. Newton's front 7 might not be able to penetrate as quickly and rapidly but if they keep chipping at it they'll make some plays down the stretch. I think it could possibly be close for 2 or 3 quarters with Newton pulling away at the end

Newton gave up almost 300yds passing to East Bernard, WRs were wide open all game and dropped a couple easy TDs.  Walls Offense will be able to move the ball and score points, the deciding factor will be if Wall's D can limit the big plays of Newton and force them to long drives.  This one should be a shoot out.  Wall has tons of speed on both sides of the ball as well.  Neither team has seen what the other brings to the table this year.

WOS Oline was not very good vs Newton in week 1
