I was saying the same thing somewhere here on another thread. At the time I posted the closest score of all of the games was a 15 point spread, and I think there were 2 of them.  Pretty much all others were lopsided, until last night we did see some closer ones.  But the district champs playing #4s generally are just games where someone gets injured, such as PNG's QB #9 and the defensive lineman, #99, last night. Why they were in with the score 0 - 31 ?  Coach Joseph generally lets the starters play the 1st half at least, and there was just over a minute left in the half. But I guess I'm digressing. Too bad for the fighting, that's a shame. They wouldn't be playing for many other coaches around here.

Agree. I personally think 3 is the perfect number.

As a grandparents to a LCM player, I was at the game last night and what I saw last night was not a game. It was Kilgore looking to start a fight. They were taunting, talking smack and cussing to both LCM players and coaches. The incident in the end zone was a assault by a Kilgore player slamming a LCM players head to the ground or fence several times. That's assault and that player should be arrested. Yeah… that’s not what happened. Kilgore wasn’t so mad to be leading by 40 points that they started throwing punches. LCM’s kids weren’t happy about being outplayed and couldn’t control their emotions.  So they asked for (and received) an actual beatdown so they’re crying about it. 
 

I’m not sure who your grandson may be, nor do I care. But some schools (BC included) have a reputation for getting into squabbles. It happens. The fact that LCM is probably the most widely known athletic program in the area for being DIRTY is somehow lost on the Bear Faithful. You can go back to the Bear Mascot picking a fight with the Indian Spirit in the 90s to LCM’s Winters destroying BC’s Baker late, out of bounds in ‘17, to the basketball brawl LCM started vs Silsbee in 19, i think, to them standing tall before the UIL a week ago for cheating… y’all are dirty. The fact that you cry about getting what you asked for is just shameful/comical to me.

Wow you're stretching it. So LCM is well know for their history of dirty play? You had to go back to the 90s? They’re certainly having an off season but nobody’s crying. There’s plenty of questionable BC history that’s not worth detailing.
