Is it him or the freshman West kid a baller? Or both?

Reportedly both. Prayers for Bailey, regardless. It didn't look good when he was helped off the field.  I didn't see what happened exactly, if he got hit or just went down on a turn or something.

Edit ... on another site they're saying it was a late hit on Bailey, after a pass.

Speedy recovery & not serious. I really like that young man’s play on the field. I’m sure he’s probably an all-around good kid.

I hope they keep ashworth and the first team offense for most of the second half. Ashworth needs as many live reps with the starters as he can possibly get. Time to grow up fast.

The Indians will be fine Ashworth is a good runner with an arm to boot...I could make the argument the Indians are more dangerous on the ground now than before

Good point. Another thing is I think it would do us well to simplify our passing game. Short easy passes. His speed adds a new wrinkle, for sure. I think he has a good touch on his passes. I’m excited to see how the coaches prepare him.

The biggest wildcard in my view isn’t Ashworth’s skill — It’s his nerves, guts, etc. Bailey has ice in his veins, and he’s seen just about everything a high school qb can see. You can’t replace that kind of experience, and it can’t be taught. With a new starter getting baptized in the second round of the playoffs (you almost can’t count the game tonight because he was already going to play the whole second half with or without Bailey), it’s a giant question mark as to how he steps up mentally and emotionally. Not to mention becoming a good decision maker. That’s football, and we’ll just have to see. He’s already showing a lot of confidence.

Bridge City is now.  PA was last night.  I assume there are others.

The Ennis game is on YouTube reportedly, and others as well, so PNG should go ahead and broadcast? Everyone else is ignoring the so-called ban.

They are not ignoring. All those entities received permission to broadcast those particular games.

This is a week to week deal. It all depends on what NFHS has on their schedule.

If you get permission from NFHS/UIL, then you can video broadcast on YouTube. But you have to receive permission.
