Good lawd man…. Right now it’s not about who do I think they would beat. Right now it’s about building the programs numbers. Building support from the community. Being competitive from start to finish. Play 4qtrs of football in all 3 phases of the game.

Or send them to Hardin, who is historically one of the worst football programs in the state, along with Kountze, Vidor and others.

However, a couple years ago, they decided to just "run right and run left" and things have kind of turned in their favor.

And before people get on here and talk about "the spread"... I'll be the first to say Vidor does not need to be a spread offensive team. Does that mean we have to stick with the slot-t, no? There are plenty of offensive variations where you can still be a run-heavy team.

Got it. You are just speculating how you "wish it could be", not really knowing the talent level in comparison to the competition.

The lights are on but nobody is home, huh? 🤦🏼‍♂️ 

Why doesn’t it matter to you if Vidor wants change or if a change brings the number back up on the field and in the stands or if a change motivates the current players?!? 

Does Vidors HC have incriminating evidence against you or something? 🤔

A coaching change has done good for some area teams like OF, BC, LCM, and I’m sure I’m forgetting a couple other teams. Those coaches came and got the kids to buy in to their culture and so far it’s working pretty good. Also, those teams that I mentioned are NOT leaps and bounds better than Vidor when it comes to talent to levels.
