Don’t sports bet unless I’m at a casino.  But I was at the Nugget last weekend so took a few futures:

Clemson over 10.5 wins +120

Klubnik to win Heisman +900

Nussmeier to win Heisman +900

(Also put in a few Emmy bets but we won’t get into that.)

We made it to the best time of the year! My bets for the week:

Georgia Tech/Colorado Under 52.5

UNLV/Sam Houston Over 61.5

Texas/Ohio State Under 47.5

Indiana -23.5

Georgia -39

Bama -13.5

UTSA +24.5

Georgia State +35.5

Utah -6

Virginia Tech +7.5

He is really not a good passer

He completely 68% of his passes for 9 TD and 2 INTs last year in the playing time he got. I think he’ll be fine, but this is a heck of an atmosphere to come into with all of the pressure and expectations.

You sound like Gus.  It’s not fair that the Heisman frontrunner has to play against a good team.

I’m a realist. Two career starts and the weight of the college football world on his shoulders, it’s not surprising that he’s struggled. All I did was state his stats from last year. Go find the posts where I say that he’s gonna win the heisman or lead them to a national championship, or where I said it’s not fair he has to play against a good team.

Sark didn’t have a good game calling plays.  He needs to do better getting Arch in rhythm early.

I love Sark, and he’s obviously turned Texas around, but his play calling since he’s been there leaves me scratching my head at times

Always over rated Texas!!!  Arch was off , however the receivers did a horrific job on their routes. Way too many penalties, RT #73 hurt them badly and defensive secondary pretty weak. Probably 8-4 or 9-3
