No one said no violence. FOX plays a couple of violent loops over and over trying to make the city look overrun. What was it Rupert said, under oath? Something like “If I have to pick truth or ratings, I’ll go with ratings.”

Mostly peaceful protest does not cost 20 million dollars.......from the LA Times.....certainly not conservative group

You don't need that much of a police presence if it is mostly peaceful.......

The LA riots after Rodney King’s beating cost insured property losses of $1.4B. $20M is 0.01428. A little over one hundredth of one percent. So, is the media (all sides) overplaying the violence? I’d say so. They’re all competing for eyeballs and clicks these days. That means the truth becomes subjective. A real danger in a free democratic society.
