Yep… immediate tax cuts funded by spending cuts that start in 2029… but we all know that won’t ver happen.

This is going to be disastrous for our national debt. Interest expense is the second largest component in our federal spending, so the solution is to borrow more? Outstanding.

lol, another prediction.

Of course not. You say the dumbest things. Child labor laws prevent that. However, when I was 13, I was getting up @ 2:00 a.m., throwing my paper route, coming home and maybe getting a nap, getting up and going to school, coming home and throwing an evening paper. I could collect for the paper and have over $100 on me at one time in a zippered bank pouch. Couldn’t do that today. Too bad those days are gone forever. Some people have initiative…..even young teenagers.

I don’t trust your source. Isn’t that what you usually challenge?

What about a 20 year old with the same issues?

My 30 year old autistic son is on Medicaid due to his disability. Are you suggesting he get a job to support himself?

I understand there is some abuse going on with these benefits but there are some people that need these benefits desperately.

Yes. I agree. ABA therapy is currently helping a lot of autistic kids. Will they still be able to fund this?

There is a substantial amount of abuse, but I would assume that people with genuine need will not be affected negatively. The amount of able-bodied parents I’ve dealt with in my career who chose to either work part time or not at all to maintain their Medicaid and welfare benefits was astonishing. I would be 100% against any bill that makes it more difficult or impossible for someone who truly needs help to get what they need.

Never assume
