Hopefully a Texas team brings the division back to the state next year. And hopefully it’s not you guys 😉. The rangers were also killed by injuries this year, just not quite to your level. Hopefully with a couple of moves from each team we’ll have an exciting race next year

According to MLB Cleveland won 88. Detroit and Houston 87. Who is going to the playoffs Houston or Detroit Can you say Detroit so you have to give them the advantage Does not appear that your math is very good , but hey your a great stat man and an excellent excuse maker on injuries and so yes they are 7 of 15 which again is average

I’d say you are less than an average fan. No math needed.

I am a fan that likes to win, tells it like it is, and doesn’t make excuses to why they didn’t make the playoffs

They didn’t make the playoffs because they didn’t play well enough

I am happy about their past several seasons of success, but I don’t live in the past. I live in the now and they did not play well enough this season

Call me a less than average fan, that is fine and I will call myself a realistic fan

Setting the all time MLB record for IL transactions in a season is as "real" as it gets.

Anyone dismissing that FACT as to why the season didn't go as well has a "less than average" intellect. 

Even the "average" fan can see the "realism" in that.

Keep making your excuses, they could have stayed healthy the entire season and still not made the playoffs None of us know the answer to that

Of course they all have injuries just not on this scale. That's why it set an all time MLB record. Keep up or is that too complicated for your intellect?

They missed the playoffs due to a tiebreaker with all those injuries. A simpleton could see that had an effect on their season.

Nobody here thinks they made the playoffs. But only a "less than average" intellect thinks the injuries didn't have an impact on their season.
