Could he? I know Democrats claim he can.

Here is the problem. Grand Jury materials are shielded under Federal Rule of criminal Procedure 6(e) and release requires a court order.  Files tied to on going investigations are also off limits. Then add redactions......

So he could "demand" - but they would release what they would release, and the stuff that was not released the Democrats would blame on Trump.....So he is playing it correct. 

Besides, having Congress vote seems Democratic, and Trump demanding the release sounds very King like....... and Democrats wants no kings.....

Your too early to celebrate - it goes to the Senate for debate and vote. If no changes, back to house and to Presidents desk. 

If they amend it, which is likely, it goes back to house for approval of the amendments.....then to Presidents desk.

If unredacted it hurts the victims and innocent people. So we know it will be redacted, that will start speculation and made up stories that may or may not be true......what does that solve? Does that bring any pedo's to justice?  Nope....this is NOT about the victims, It will be another attempt to "get Trump".....
