Carl Padilla, the Godfather of Texas high school football and creator of the Padilla Poll, is predicting 6A cutoff number to be 2265 based on the fact that 248 schools have turned in numbers greater than that number.

This will mean that La Porte will remain 5A DI and West Brook and United will drop to 5A DI.

Wasn’t there a max cap of 6A schools at one point? Like 250 is sticking out for whatever reason…
