I think this actually the conservatives' worst nightmare.  Nobody cared about Joe/Hunter (other than the hardcore conservatives) during the last election cycle and nobody cares about them now.  We should be as mean spirited and petty as we possibly can and then see how much the voting public approves in 2024.  What a great plan.

The fact is this... the average American just wants to live their life and be able to provide for their family.  How is that helped by partisan investigations and attacks?  I mean, it fires up the political junkies who just want to see the "other" guys get hammered just like they've been hammering "our" guys.  Our fiscal house is on fire with regard to inflation, the debt, etc.... and all the leaders want to talk about is Hunter Biden's laptop?  Give me a break.  It's comical how the same person who was on here whining about the 1/6 commission "witch hunt" and what a big time the investigation into Russian Collusion turned out to be is now crowing about "now it's our time to look into Joebama's business dealings!"

That's how you lose interest.  Want to do something productive?  Figure out how to control healthcare costs instead of worrying about Hillary's missing emails.  Figure out how we're going to pay back all of the money that we're borrowing instead of trying to figure how often Trump likes prostitutes to pee on him.  

 

Here's another fact... If you can't help but compare President Biden to Obama, you need to grow up.  It kinda sounds like you're just trying to tie people's hatred of Obama (which was in fact racial to a lot of people on the right) to the new President who (unfortunately for you) can't be simply dismissed because of his race.

First, it wasn’t Hunter’s laptop.
 

Then they admitted it was his laptop, but argued it was Russian “disinformation.”

Then they admitted it wasn’t disinfo, but assured us Joe Biden wasn’t involved.

Now, it looks like Joe was involved, but they’re telling us he did nothing wrong.😂

Have they ever found the J6 Pipe Bomber or the SCOTUS Leaker?

Just asking for a friend.😀

Why shouldn’t Republicans go after biden and his family?  Hunter’s laptop should be enough to bury this po💩family.  There is plenty of proof, unlike Hillary and obama’s sham, that should have warranted charges brought against them.

These last two years are making it very hard for the average American to provide for his family.  But, they are many that are blind to this, and will Dim no matter what!

Isn’t it stupid how all Congress wants to do is spend their time investigating the other party?

How about, i don’t know, trying to balance the budget? Appoint a few federal judges? 
 

“Oh, it’s our turn now! We’re about to go after the other guys!” Y’all hypocrites need to apologize about complaining that Trump got impeached twice. You’d do the same thing in a heartbeat.

I’m not holding my breath. Just like Hillary never got into trouble, a questionable election was overlooked, and countless other incidents have gone unpunished, I’m skeptical if anything at all will happen no matter what the evidence.

Might I also add people don’t trust the government because a billionaire child trafficking ring ( Epstein)was exposed and we still don’t have the names of who participated. But Cardinalbacker, Big Girl, and UTAlum has full faith in the government and mainstream media. Lol

      I hear what you’re saying, BUT… that hammers the hell out of poor people and the ones with multiple properties don’t eat any more than the poor ones. In fact, you’d basically just be taxing a lot of peoples’ EBT payments. The government  can’t get ahead by taxing what they’re already borrowing to give to people.    I think well off people should pay more… but the scale as it exists is broken.    For the sake of argument, my mom’s house in Groves is valued at $125k. 2/1/1 on a slab.  Her tax bill is $850/year. Without exemptions, her bill would be 3200. It’s right on JCAD’s website. The problem is this…. If someone tries to rent out an identical house, they’d expect to get, what… $1200/month? If you take into account that homeowners/windstorm/flood is a minimum of another $2k per year, you’d need $5k a year just to cover the taxes and insurance. That’s four months (1/3 of the year) just to cover those costs, not counting a potential mortgage payment. But then everybody cries about how expensive rents are… you can’t tax the hell out of non-homestead property to make up for gifts given to homeowners in the form of big tax cuts. It just doesn’t work.    Ten acres in Lumberton? I’ve got a buddy with 10 acres in Lumberton on HWY 69. Prime property… it’s his retirement plan. Sale it one day and cash in. The CAD decided that it no longer qualifies for a special use valuation (timber) and stripped his “exemption.” His 2023 tax bill jumped from $25 to $22,000…. It’s insane.

      They’re going to have win almost all remaining games and get finals of tournament to think about an at-large. When LU was in the WAC, Grand Canyon got an at-large after New Mexico St came out of nowhere to win conference tournament. Grand Canyon had a dang good resume that year. It can happen, but resume wise isn’t in their favor.
