Expand Honestly in the last 20 years it has rarely been a good game. there was a long period of Dayton dominance in the series and now there has been a long period of Crosby dominance in the series. i guess a few years of competitive games but not that many. CCRed Posted September 20, 2021 Report Posted September 20, 2021 I don’t care how down Dayton is supposed to be, sometimes these matchups are closer than they should be. I just hope Crosby can correct some of their special teams issues. If we don’t give up a kickoff return for a touchdown, that will be an improvement. Last year the kicker was able to get most kickoffs thru the end zone. I think that has only happened once this year. MrFleet23 1 Quote

Expand Finally we have a real coach at the helm that is capable of making adjustments and planning ahead. Its taking awhile to pick up the pieces from a fromally great program that was gutted for 8 yrs ,but progress is starting to suface now. I’ve seen some exciting games in DYFL. some of them will actually be playing Saturday at bronco stadium first game at 9:00 second game at 10:30. Y’all come out and support these young Broncos. some of the boys that were playing when I started attending DYFL games are actually on the varsity as freshman now. jayhawk 1 Quote

Don't let that GCM game be a game you use to measure yourself. They Were without Their Qb, Best o-line,an, starting Safety and lost their #1 wr on the opening kickoff. These Broncos going to fight until the end. And as far as who was missing from GCM the starting QB was in the game while I was watching so not sure how they didn’t have him. But either way I like everyone counting Dayton completely out. That just makes these boys want it more and makes them want to prove everyone wrong. Quote

Green school that just opened on side of GCM has some freaking studs. Other than Cunningham in North Shore I haven't see a group of kids that looked like that in middle school. Their running back will probably have to play varsity as a freshman if he stays at GCM so hopefully we can get him over to Crosby before he needs a PAPF. BlackShirts5 and MrFleet23 1 1 Quote
