Focus on tackling this week tigers. Pass coverage could use some help.

Trash the stretch play with Martin please! That play is failing from the beginning. Or maybe it was just wos defense but it looked bad tonight.ย

Take care of business next week and enjoy the ride.

It was WO-S's defense.ย  If theย  locking is right, that play is a thing of beauty... I have no problem with it.ย  I wish United would go to that type of offense...

Silsbee is going to present all kinds ofย problems for Wimberly's staff.ย  In preparation they could watch game films and that might help.ย  Or they could get that new Disney streaming service and watchย "Son Of Flubber" which would be just about as good.ย  The only problem is that what happened in the 4th quarter tonight at BISD Memorial is a good deal less plausible than what happens in "Son Of Flubber".ย ย

I have to say I donโ€™t have a clue how the Coaches do it, but Silsbee seems to peak at playoff time. ย Second year in a row. ย Not a coincidence, but some remarkable coaching.

Cโ€™mon Tigers, just keep getting better for a couple of more weeks.

Strange though.ย  There are still some Coach Smith detractors in Silsbee and I don'tย  understand it...

Soulja itโ€™s the world we live in man. Thereโ€™s people who wanted Coach T gone last year after winning multiple state titles in a row.

Iโ€™ll admit I wasnโ€™t sold on Coach Smith his first couple years. At this point though, it would take a dummy to say he hasnโ€™t earned his respect.

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Coveyโ€™s campaign identified โ€œat leastโ€ 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voterโ€™s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, butย  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up ย by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelanโ€™s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party โ€” the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 โ€” so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelanโ€™s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,โ€ Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davisโ€™ radio program Wednesday. โ€œI did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." " ย
