What was avoidable is a school the size of Alvin not having a more competitive basketball program. Of course there could be some valid reasons - several top players may be sick, or benched for disciplinary reasons. Just hate to see kids/schools getting shortchanged. If no valid reason, the Alvin School District needs to step up. Jmo Quote
