It would be great if Trump came out and said that he fired Comey because of his irresponsible actions that influenced and cost Hillary the Presidency.

They are talking about convening a grand jury to investigate Hillarious.  Her little world may not be a happy one this night!  Remember -- she actually broke the law with the server not being where it was supposed to be.  Comey said basically she was guilt as sin but did nothing.  There was a law broke when Michael Flynn was unmasked.  Comey did nothing.  We can't have two sets of laws.  Heck, even our liberal friends here would agree with that!

There's no doubt she broke the law, as did Huma Abedin, and probably several more.  Don't break out the champagne yet.  Been watching Bill & Hillary breaking the law for many years, but they are like Teflon.  To many big name politicians are above the law - on both sides.

Trump said he fired him because he lied about the number of classified email that were on Weiner's server. Why does he now care?

Trump fired him because the attorney general made that recommendation.  Unlike certain predecessors, Trump apparently chose to listen to the advice of some of those associated with him;

 

Sessions, the former junior senator from Alabama, said the FBI director "must be someone who follows faithfully the rules and principles of the Department of Justice and who sets the right example for law enforcement officials and others in the department.

"Therefore, I must recommend that you remove Director James B. Comey, Jr. and identify an experienced and qualified individual to lead the great men and women of the FBI."

Why did he recommend that he fire Comey at this time, when the former FBI director was investigating his ties to Russia?
