Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Im there. I highly recommend ppl get there by 5, especially if you sitting on Navasota side, they have a huge following. robanadana 1 Quote
RaiderRed30 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 If I was in town, I would be going to that game, but since I am up north. Jonesboro Richland Springs is calling my name. Tyler Dixson 1 Quote
Guest ECBucFan Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Thats a fine game for sure, but I am going to the triple header at NRG.Katy - Friendswood 12 Noon, Cy Falls - North Shore 4PM, Strake Jesuit - Manvel 8PMWeather wise this might be a great choice. Quote

From what I have seen the last several years, including games against my Tigers, Navasota will not fill up either side of PU. There will be plenty of room. Stadium holds 17,000. Quote

Finally NRG gets a tripleheader. Was wondering about that last night. Cowboys Stadium has hosted 6 games the past two weekends and probably 6 more next week, but NRG barely hosts any games it seems. Is there a reason for that? I am wondering, because I would just assume that more schools want to play there. Quote
ST413 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Thought this was kind of an interesting choice of locations. But should be a great one. Quote
robanadana Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) Carthage had a good fan showing against WOS in 2013 at the Butch and it's an easy drive for them. It's the boudain that has them playing here! I gotta make up my mind who I wanna see.....decisions, decisions. Everybody playing on Friday again. ST413 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Haha! It's just kind of an out of the way drive for either. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted November 23, 2015 Author Report Posted November 23, 2015 Was told that Surratt wanted to make Navasota travel, even if it made his team travel far. Sota had been playing less than an hour from their town the first two rounds. Also, Carthage has played at PUS before.Neither could agree on stadiums closer to their respective communities. So they are playing in Beaumont.Hearing fans from both towns were very disappointed in this playoff site. May not be as big a crowd as some expect. Quote

MossHill Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 2 hour and 45 minutes for Carthage fans. We knew last week where we was playing. He told us all week that they would not agree and Bmt would be the site. We love playing in Bmt & look forward to this contest. We had 2500 a Humble last Fri night & we'll have even more this week vs Navasota. Nobody that I know was upset about the location. This is a part of our community. Traveling all over is what we do this time of year. Let's go Dawgs!!!! Mr. Buddy Garrity and AthleticSupporter - Jock 2 Quote
