It's especially impressive with how many RBs silsbee went through this year. First of all, I still stand by my statement. Not the best Silsbee team I have seen. Defense is not good enough to hold that title. Special teams are not that good as well. The offense though is as good as I have seen Silsbee have in a long time. FYI, Silsbee has only lost one RB this season. Tavoris Brooks tore ACL in Ozen scrimmage. Adonis Thomas has been the starter ever since. He did get off to a slow start and Armstrong had to play some but the last 5-6 weeks Adonis has been tearing it up. I suspect that back in the 70's some of the teams were much better than this team but there is no way to find out. The offense is outstanding, the defense has a lot of players with good athletic ability but they started the year short on talent. The line opened the season without the services of an all district player who was probably their best defensive player who did not report out this year. The situation was complicated when Heath Jones moved away after three or four games. The defense has shown improvement all year, The defensive group has had a year to improve and they have some of the most gifted athletes on their side of the ball. Quote

ST413 Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 I have to agree that this offense is the best in quite a while. You have two speed threats at receiver in Lowe and Barnes. A big sure handed receiver in Mackey and threats in the backfield in both Thomas'! Quote
