Early Season Suprises

Bridge City:

We all know that the Coach was good, but did we expect them to play this good?  I didn't.

 

Lumberton:

There has been discussion for a couple of seasons on how good of a Coach that Babin is... Well maybe he is as good as Deweyville fans thought.  The kids seem to have bought in and maybe Lumberton can slip into a playoff spot.

 

Chester:

A perennial bottom dweller, has an early undefeated season.  Not sure the last time I have seen a Chester team ranked on the SETX board, nor the last time they had a 3 game winning streak.

 

Looking forward to keeping up with these 3 teams throughout the season

Central winless on the year is my surprise.

Ned will be ok, they have had shaky starts in the past and turned out fine.

Bridge City big surprise to most.  I'm impressed by Ozens start.  Central has had a tough go, but played some good teams. My personal biggie is Ltown.  If I keep picking against them, they'll win a bunch.

I agree, but I was trying to look on the bright side of things.

When it comes to District they all turn it up a notch. Some teams play teams stronger than they are, so play below their style. When District starts every team starts undefeated. So every teams has something to work on, even that Code Red team.
