BADSANTA Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 I'm going to go with under at 6. Depends who's playing QB's and they will be better on defense. Last year was a rough year but plenty of starters coming back. Also, who will start in the backfield for Silsbee? Brooks or Spearman? Quote

He enrolled at Beaumont Central back in April. BADSANTA 1 Quote

Silsbee92 Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) Though I see a return to winning ways, with little to no defensive mindset, its all a mute point with Carthage awaiting in the playoffs.Dare them to do better.Jmo.... Edited June 16, 2015 by Silsbee92 Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Defense really wasn't the issue last year. It was the offense. From 2013 season to last year, Silsbee averaged over 2 touchdowns less on offense than they did the year before. (36 points a game in 2013, 19 points a game in 2014)The defense did give up more points a game in 2014 than 2013 (26 per in '13, 32 per in '14) but the defense was on the field way too much due to the offense going 3 and out or turning it over too many times.I honestly thought the defense kept us in games most times last year.Silsbee will be improved offensively and I expect the defense to be improved as well. ST413 Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 To me the biggest part the Tigers need is improved play on the offensive line. Give a little more time for the play to develope and the offense should improve quite a bit. Which in turn should help the defense. Quote
