ST413 Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 Will WOS face the winner? Or are they the third seed based on record? Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 Will WOS face the winner? Or are they the third seed based on record? It's my understanding they will play the winner for the 3rd seed, loser would be 4th seed. Quote
ADChernoff Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 That is correct... Game for 3rd/4th seed will be 3 PM at Vidor... Quote
STiger85 Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 HJ with an advantage tomorrow, having Friday off to rest arms. With playing Friday, the Wednesday games are looming large as both WOS and LCM will be short pitchers for the most important games of the year for these teams. An extra days rest does not sound like much but is very important this time of year. Good luck to all three teams. Quote

I went to O'field game last night and the talk in stands was they could not believe they were rolling the dice last night and saving top three arms for today. Quote

No worries for the Mustangs as far as pitching goes, especially in just a 1 game situation like today. The 2 and 3 seeds from this district have a better playoff route so the game between WOS and winner of HJ/LCM is a meaningful matchup. LCM/HJ really behind the 8 ball today. Rake1 Quote
STiger85 Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 Do you pitch a player with two days rest? With three days rest? What do y'all think? WOS= A. Anderson-Wednesday, G. Anderson-Friday; They have pitched, what 90% of the district innings for WOS, only one game today. LCM= Moore-Wednesday, Trahown-Friday; LCM facing the two best hitting teams in our district; have several pitcher with district experience on the mound. HJ= Cash-Tuesday, OFF Friday; Basically all of there pitching staff available, do you use Cash if you get in a pickle? You have to win to get to where you want to be at the end of the season. Now that your there and your season is on the line you play who you have to to get to the next game. That's all the seniors want is a next game, just one more. What are you willing to do to get there. It's not what you do now that gets you ready for these situations like this, it's what you have done in the last eight to ten years that get you ready. Good luck, y'all have a beautiful day to play baseball. Quote
bedelmon Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 HJ will throw Cash at LCM and I'm sure HJ will see Roddy... If HJ gets by LCM, WOS will see Edelmon... I cant see WOS throwing an Anderson today, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.... Quote
