BC is good...no doubt...and should win the district this year but I can tell you there are a bunch of teams in the other districts chomping at the bit to play the teams in this district. Go check out some of the records of the other 4A districts teams. Some are undefeated in 2 years with state championships recently.

All 4 teams that make the playoffs in this district will have to play out their minds to make deep runs in the playoffs.

Bridge City is one of the too teams in the state this year. If you've seen them play, you know that. Now are they the second best team in class 4A? I'm not sure. But apparently they impressed the voters enough to convince theM.

Well they will get there chance to prove themselves with Huffman Hargrave and La Grange in the same region and Huffman possibly in 3rd round! Should be some great games!

La grange looks pretty stout with a 25 -O record and Huffman at 23-3. This region definitely has a state championship contender in it! Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs.

I have learned in my years of watching softball that it can be a funny little sport when it comes to rankings. High school sports are so unpredictable, so many variables. Good luck to BC, dont look past the next opponent or it will bite ya.

I've seen both BC and Lagrange several times. I'd give BC a slight pitching edge, but LG has unreal pop 1-9. Unreal. Watched them hit 5 bombs in one game at Brenham. FIVE.
BC, Huffman and LG in this region could be 3/4 of the final four if they were all in separate regions. I'll go out on a limb and say one of them hoists a trophy at the end of the season.
