Maybe so, but I will guarantee when the final battle is fought, Israel will be last man standing.

I'm sure many will scoff at this post, but one has only to look at the Six Day War to believe this may be the case.  The five muslim countries who attacked Israel had twice the men, three times the aircraft and tanks

When the smoke cleared, Israel had less than a thousand dead, while the attackers lost over 18,000, and left the desert covered with hundreds of blown up and abandoned tanks.

Is this Devine Intervention, or is the Israeli Army THAT good?  I don't know for sure, but the facts should make one wonder.

Good Intel, great training, better equipment, more will power, and a little luck.

I completely agree, different reasons though.

Best defensive technology on the planet. Between David's slind and iron Dome they are almost completely untouchable to nukes.

I'm still not convinced Skins.  Maybe most of things you mentioned, especially the luck, was provided or enhanced by Devine Intervention.  After all, you don't always have to part the Red Sea, you just have to get the people to the other side.  Just an opinion thing.  Doubt I'll change yours and you won't mine, but I enjoy the exchange.

Some ppl just don't have a clue.  Don't understand the hatred toward Israel, what for?

Don't understand how anything there can be considered hatred.

I'm a supporter of Israel, I'm just willing to provide the other sides view. Israel is not a perfect country, and it hurts our relationship when they do things the rest of the world doesn't like. When can only sweep so much under the rug.

When you are surrounded by countries that would just as soon wipe you off the face of the earth than to live peace,  sometimes you have to do things others don't like to survive.  Especially with Iran being one of those such countries, no way in hell we should be trying reach some sort of agreement with them over nuclear programs of any kind.  This is just one of the things our current administration does not seem to get.

I'm not sure most on here hate Israel, but you're right about the hatred worldwide.  And BS, like you, I can't understand it.  Why?

The only thing that comes to me is brainwashing of our young by Ultra left wing professors.  And this has to be going on all over Europe as well as here (here's a given).  Or maybe those profs are in need of exorcism.  I know many will get a laugh out of that, but pending a better reason, I have to throw it out as a possibility.  Personally, it scares the feces out of me to inject the implication here.

I love the fact that we can take these guys out like this, but it just seems like a drop in the bucket. Their leaders are so easily replaced, I wonder just how important this guy was.

I look at it this way BD, I'm just thankful they don't have this capability.  If they did, you, me, BS, LRF, Smitty SN & hippy would be targeted.

And Hoops, PF, BG, and all the other dadgum liberals here would be laughing their b-tts off.

never been a big fan of the political party bull-ish.. With me I vote based on if I think you can get the job done, not based on political party. if I ever voted based on rep or dem I might as well not even vote. Then again: you can write your own self in. ;)

We need to wipe them all out but I know Yobama dont want to be that harsh on his brotherhood!

Durn 77 I left you out.  You'll be a target with the rest of us.

About what you said about Obama.   I have to be honest, if the bet was just yes or know, I'd bet yes, but not much because it sounds to far out there.  Then again, I'd bet yes on aliens so I'm far out there too.  He never does anything to make me think otherwise.  I keep hoping.

    • No doubt. It's definitely intriguing enough to watch how this all plays out...
    • We all know that each state has its own laws which can be very different, especially in endeavors like annexation or incorporation, so there is no telling what Louisiana law says. I don’t know but I doubt that there is a point of appeal for Baton Rouge to force St. George to be absorbed back into Baton Rouge by now giving them what they asked for years ago. “Oh, we lost? Well let’s just undo incorporation, ruled as legal by the Supreme Court (of LA)  by going back and giving them what they asked for”. There has to be a law allowing such an appeal. I think what I read about the lower court decisions which actually backed up Baton Rouge, they did not all rule that incorporation was illegal but that they did not think the city could have services up and running soon enough. So you have a court saying that sure you can split but only if we agree that you can provide services get enough. In Louisiana, who knows? I doubt that Texas has such a mechanism to allow a city to split, for example, could the west end of Beaumont say that they wish to make their own city against Beaumont’s objection? I doubt it. Certainly Beaumont could allow a city to be created as Port Arthur did with Bridge City and Taylor’s Landing. There is a huge difference in allowing and forcing which is what happened in Baton Rouge. Similar to the sometime discussed topic of Texas splitting off from the United States because they don’t like the way things are going, think if citizens in any city in the United States were allowed to create their own city, which could not be stopped by the parent city.  That could get interesting!! Don't like what is happening in the south side of Chicago? Just de-annex and create your own city!! Anyway, I thought that it is an interesting story when the capital city splits in half.
    • Wasn't that 1st round loss last year? Also, during those previous 10 years I am pretty sure Jasper didn't go 2-58 in district play in the other 5 sports.
    • Ma'am, I don't think he said all Muslims were like that. If I'm reading this right, he's referencing the terrorist Muslims. You know, the ones who commit murder & have no regard for anyone who doesn't follow their jihadist beliefs...
    • Great playoff run, no doubt.  They did make the 3rd round(1 less) 4 of the previous 10 years, only one first round loss. 6 district championships and 4 second place.  The only 4 years Carthage was in the same district. So no, I'm not sure it does make sense.
