This week in Kliff

Well the story that is floating around is his parents want him to go out of the state to get away from this guy. He has only been a bad influence.

But the fact is all of these are stories and no one really knows the whole truth other than he decommitted on Friday and was visiting Baylor Sunday. But Waco is only about 75 miles away so he could have gone to Waco to go shopping and just stopped by the campus. I know that when I am in Waco I do that to see the bears.

These are all just stories so there is nothing that can be said.

The guy that he lives with is a Tech alum named Matt Copeland. He is apparently pushing for Baylor. I have met Matt and have several mutual friends. This much I can confirm. My understanding is Matt's father (?) used to coach with Briles? This I don't know for a fact. I also heard from a pretty reliable source that Stidham's parents are encouraging him to go to school out of state. This is also hearsay though. I guess we will see what will happen. The Tech deal apparently blew up when Kliff wouldn't guarantee the kid (when asked directly by Copeland) that he wouldn't redshirt this year. They were trying to get a commitment from KK that he would be the leader to start next year. Kliff told them he would be given every opportunity. But in fairness to KK, he did just have a true freshman (Mahomes) throw for over 600 yards against the #5 team in the country. I think, in reality, this spooked the kid as well.

The last thing a 5 star recruit wants to do is compete for a job. Especially at Texas Tech.

Surprise, surprise. But I thought the SEC was the only conference that cheats?

Apparently the sec is severely lacking on reading comprehension. Ć°ÅøĖœā€šĆ°ÅøĖœā€šĆ°ÅøĖœā€š

Read the thread. I already gave you the reason why he was going to Baylor. Smh. Should have gone to a public ivy Mack.

    • Maybe they should recruit those Little League coaches. Seems like that is only baseball they make deep runs in the playoffs in........
    • Congratulations to Coach Carter he is a great coach and is like a second dad to the boys. He is a great man and loves his players even after they move on. He tries to keep up with all his ex players who moved on to the college ranks and there were a bunch. He is also a great Paw-Paw(IYKYK). Good luck on retirement Coach.
    • From my knowledge of the situation he want even be considered for the job
    • Just strolling on in, checking out things. šŸ‘€ā˜•
    • Oh, I agreeā€¦ the prosecutionā€™s star witness just pooped the bed.Ā  Ā  The problem is this. OJ Simpson was a Heisman Trophy winner from USC, and the Avis commercials, Naked Gun movies, and every Sunday on the sidelines at NFL games. A very likable guyā€¦. The glove gave the jurors the opportunity to do what they wanted-free the Juice.Ā  Ā  On the other hand, NYC jurors HATE Trump, as evidenced by the previous trial (although that one was decided by a judge) in which trump got hammered. Ā Iā€™ve got a bad feeling that these jurors wonā€™t care about whether not Cohen lied, but be more concerned with the fact that ā€œbeing fed to the lionsā€ isnā€™t within the range of punishment that they can impose.Ā  Ā  Iā€™m not saying itā€™s right or that I agree, itā€™s just what I expect.
