NewtonNation Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 I would have Orangefield over Garrison but other than that looks good!
NewtonNation Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014
we should at least be in Top 5
Gabe Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Nederland up from 8 to 4 after two big wins.
liltex Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Smh Dayt beats Ned by 19 w/ball @ the goal w/reserves(5 weeks back).Differant Ned team?Differant Dayt team 35-35 @buzzer lost OT 41-35 to #1 Setxsports poll Crosby dominating every game stat on a team allowing 13 ppg.I'm out Daytonfan9210 1
AggiesAreWe Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 I can see the point regarding Orangefield and Garrison.
tigerheart Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Win by 34 on the road against another ranked team and you actually lose points...smh
AggiesAreWe Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Win by 34 on the road against another ranked team and you actually lose points...smh I had SA #4
Back2swag Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 So if Newton beats #2 team they should move up right? Because they did knock off #1 WOS in week 6. Then it gets more crazy cause WOS gonna beat HJ

SportsConnect09 Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 I agree...West Orange beats HJ easy
Gabe Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Folks yall read way too much in to these every week. Debate is good but when ranking how teams are now why should i put more stock in neds week 2 loss to dayton than back to back wins over central and png? Week 2 was forever ago. Every knew the Nederland in nondistrict would not be the team we saw in these weeks. Things happen during a year where you opinion of a team as a voter changes. If a voter this week had voted Nederland no. 1 i wouldnt agree but i bet that voter could make cause for em. The last two weeks they have as quality wins as anyone all year. If they went 1-1 last 2, they are no. 7 or so. KF89 1

Gabe Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Ned and Dayton exact same records. Ned in most peoples logic cant be ahead of dayton due to head to head. Ned beat png and central. So png would be 6 and central 7? With Dayton 4 and ned 5
Gabe Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 But theres La Porte and 6A to deal with. Heck Deer Park should be 4 with one loss if went soley on records and head to head. Fact remains Nederland is playing and winning some of the best football of anybody at this moment. If they slip past Lee somehow say 14-10 and others below look great, id consider a move

Gabe Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Of course i consider who a team just beat, thus Nederland so high. PNG losses just as quality as anyone, central same way cause even the memorial loss then was a far different titans team. Central was 3 inches short of beating Dogs. They won last week, dayton lost. Its really that simple. You loss, you drop. You win, you go up. Its that simple texas13 1
liltex Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Where was your vote? You are a voter in these rankings.Sent sunday morning pm to grad =terminate my mod status/staff member=No Vote
AggiesAreWe Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Sent sunday morning pm to grad =terminate my mod status/staff member=No Vote Why? Your vote is just as valuable as anyone's on the panel. Not understanding why quitting over this.
AggiesAreWe Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 In retrospect, I probably should have voted Dayton #8 instead of #10. Dayton was #5 last week, #8 this week after a loss. A 3 spot drop when others below won is not all that bad. Now I do not agree with Dayton being left completely out of the poll by one of the voters. But to each his own.
bronco pride Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Liltex don't sweat it. Dayton will make be making the playoffs 19 years in a row and 21 5a will most likely be 3-1 or 4-0 in the first round. Luckily in high school everything is settled on the field and the best team even with the lower rankings win and move on.
outanup Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Just a poll..... Won't ever let myself get worked up or eve argue over someone else's OPINION. It's where u finish that counts.
