CrosbyCoogs14 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Next week it starts boys. So strap them chin straps tight and get ready. Oh and to all them haters looks like there's a force to be reckoned with in Crosby with this shutdown defense. So move over Seattle Seahawks legion of doom cause here comes the new sheriff in town the crosby Legion of the COOG. Peace out and safe travels. Quote
cougar14 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 I still think Fort Bend's district is the toughest in the state with the region 2 district that Lufkin is in coming second. This is definitely a district to be reckoned with though. After non-district I would go 1. Crosby 2. Dayton/King 3. King/Dayton 4. KP/BH 5. BH/KP I have a feeling it could be playoff time before Crosby drops a game Quote
jake94 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Having seen and lost to both, Dayton vs Crosby will be a good game. Where is the game at? We played much better against Crosby, but were as sloppy as I can remember in quite a while tonight. Quote

CrosbyCoogs14 Posted September 6, 2014 Author Report Posted September 6, 2014 It's gonna be fun and knowing the tradition in Nederland and how tough they played is they'll be fine. Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Coogs definitely made a statement tonight with that huge blowout! Congrats coogs. I for sure don't wanna see y'all come playoffs. Quote
Yeoj Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Didn't Channelview put 60+ on the team a lot of people say are going to win that district? Lmbo... Quote

cougar14 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 C.E. King has scored 125 points and has over 1400 yards of total offense after 2 non-district games. There will be a good team at the house from 21-5A this year. Should be a good one in Bronco stadium next week.http://www.chron.com/sports/highschool/scoreboard/?site=default&mkt=houston&Season=2014&a=1&tpl=Team&Sport=1&TeamID=137&SearchType=Teams Quote
Daytonfan09 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 C.E King could be a sleeper for district, any stock on the competition they are playing? Quote
cougar14 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Serious start to district play for 21-5A. BH vs Crosby and King vs Dayton. Separation begins next week. Football Fan 4 Life 1 Quote
cougar14 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 C.E King could be a sleeper for district, any stock on the competition they are playing? Competition sucks but with that being said it's hard to get 1400 yards in two weeks of practice, much less two games. Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Don't worry, the Pirates won't... Hey dude, incase you haven't noticed we have the same record as y'all. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Thread is comical. Toughest 5A district is the one with Lufkin, Ennis and all those guys, its not even close, there is no New Caney ISD type squads in that district. SFA85 1 Quote

True Buddy but you can only play who you are supposed to play. Yes the current Ennis coach was the coach at Kirbyville when he rode my little cousin for 3 years. He was smart to jump ship when he did and has brought Ennis back to what they use to be. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
cougar14 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 With (#7)Brenham's shocking loss and (#8)Crosby's win over (#6)Angleton, the Cougars will be ranked 6th when the new area AP polls come out. How's that for a stat?lol Rankings never mean much but I think it proves what I've been saying. The 5 schools ranked ahead of Crosby are all in FB County. If someone from the bi-district can get through these teams there is potential very deep run to be made. Maybe even to the dance. Quote
