I agree with the above predictions.  although it is early and not sure how much some of these teams have changed.  will say the Nederland black and Lumberton game will be interesting.  Black is young but full of confidence.  will they get shocked early in the year?

Good matchups for week one. Both teams have a good group of first year kids that moved up.

 Looks good to me BMT Pride.  Ned W is the early front runner in Junior this season.

I hear that Ned W does have the running back from last year and he is good.  Also heard they have a lot of players that can pick up slack at running  back in the event of injury etc...  We will see.  I am still picking the experienced coach with the cupcake crew until I see some live action and scrimmages take place.  Any of the juniors scrimmage yet?

UpandIn, why did you change your logo.  does it change from baseball to football. 

BC will surprise some people this year.  just wait and see.  They have a good crew there.  WOS will be outcoached this year by a few teams.  just not sure if enough to make up for their talent.

In big school, it will be the Nederland black team.  Lot of talented kids moved up with the same coach from what I understand, coach has a history of success.  They will give Lumb. W a run for their money in the first week.

Bears and Cardinals: Both defenses looked good, Cardinals scored on a long run by Oceguera. Bears scored twice, 65 yard run by Barborek and a long pass from Landry to Elliot.

How many returners does LCM have on the JR team? They were pretty tough last year

Y'all should be tough with 15 returners, and have some good leadership.

 

The BMT/Lum scrimmage went well, and neither team/player really stood out.  Should be a competitive season across the board.

I'm not sure Spartan was watching the same scrimmage I was.  It appeared that Lumberton dominated the whole game.  I think Bmt. did break a good pass play but that was about all I saw.  I thought I was being pretty objective.  watch out for that cupcake crew

Lumberton did get the better of the scrimmage, but I didn't see domination. Most of the  BMT mistakes were self inflicted not due to a ferocious defense. Lumberton's offense looks like it has potential with several kids running the ball.  Both teams look like they had some good players, and the coaches are trying to find the right positions for them.

I heard the same thing, wish I could have seen it.  I hear that the Nederland black team is the team to beat.  Very aggressive defense and some good running backs.  Should be a good opener against the cupcake crew first week.

The whisperer seems to be living up to his name "shhhh......".  Guess too busy scouting from what ya'll say.  What are the reports about the junior PNG teams?  All I'm hearing about is Nederland, Lumberton, and Beaumont on here.
