El Guapo Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 I do like the jersey but I think its a little on the dark side for an away jersey. They should make it the Home Jersey ! Mr. Buddy Garrity and mighymouse490 2 Quote
AshlyHasBeen Posted August 8, 2014 Author Report Posted August 8, 2014 Their players said they'll wear either red or Columbia blue at home. I wonder what officials will say considering they're dark gray. They wore light silver years ago on the road. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
liltex Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Man that new uni looks alot like the old 1 years ago ;) if you blinked an eye then you passed Lumb :D Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
raideroldtimer Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 I'm thinking that since the school colors are actually Columbian Blue, Red, White and Silver, the grey is the best representation of the silver without look gay. Quote

AthleticSupporter - Jock Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 New Jersey.... same old result.... another L in the loss column Any losses that the Raiders have this year, won't be at the hands of the young pirates. You should set your sights on Lee. That could be your only win this year. Tiger33 and spoonbill 2 Quote

Vidor's last winless season was 1995. They also hold a record for 35 consecutive losses (4 years). Vidor's overall record is 248-476-14 for a winning percentage of .336 and they have 12 winless seasons. Lumberton has 8 winless seasons, including the last two years and an overall record of 157-316-7 for a winning percentage of .327. Lumberton actually has a better playoff record, they are 2-2( .500 wp) in playoff games while Vidor is 4-5 (.444 wp). ** Credit - http://texashighschoolfootballhistory.com/ ** Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Larry Haynes' record is 19-11 for his first run at Lumberton, 1989-91 for a .633 winning percentage and 0-10 for last year. Overall record at Lumberton is 19-21 (.475 winning percentage ). Ive never really been impressed with Mathews coaching. Neumann could have kicked tail with a few of the teams that mathews has coached in V town. Im not trying to make any Vidor posters mad . i am simply giving my opinion Quote

AshlyHasBeen Posted August 8, 2014 Author Report Posted August 8, 2014 I would say before criticizing Matthews realize he's taken them to the playoffs 4 of the 6 times the Pirates have made the playoffs. He has Vidor competitive every year. That wasn't the case before. People aren't knocking on the door to coach there either while he's very proud of his team. WTB and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
