LCM fans have been extremely quiet. I would expect to hear more from them since the drop in classification. I believe their playoff drought will surely come to a end this season.

I don't know, but I saw some of the coaches at the area track meet last year and they seemed excited, guess that doesn't really say much though because all coaches are excited at the beginning of the year.

They have two legitimate D-1 prospects on the offensive line. No matter what classification that helps. They lose there top two rushers in Brandon Tolliver and Jalen Griffin. But Robert Green is a capable replacement. The defense will lose 3 secondary starters and that will hurt them alot. I expect them to be top two in the district. Dropping down will help LC-M football and allow them to be a good solid overall team in the region.

the bears will be tested big time the first game we will see if they can stop the big kid that will be placed in the backfield with rutledge 225 pounds  he will be the led blocker  now that the mustangs have gone to more of a ball control team  a clock burner lets say

LCM will be fine on the Oline. They have several guys that can run the ball. The biggest question is who is going to be there quarter back.

Also, I think one of the biggest problems for LC-M, or whoever makes the playoffs, is the district they'd have to play in the first round (Carthage, Kilgore, Tyler Chapel Hill, etc.)

Is Robert Green the RB from jv team last year? If so, they won't miss a beat at that position.

You have me mistaken for an LCM fan. I'm just giving an opinion of what is likely to happen. LCM will beat Silsbee and Jasper. Write it down. Save this post or whatever. LCM would have been the 3rd best team in 22-5A if they had stayed up.

We will see about LCM beating Silsbee and Jasper. Both teams went 3 rounds deep and are uusually pretty talented.
