Who you got taking this area matchup of two state ranked teams?

Saw Joaquin in a tourney earlier in the year. They are solid, and I think it will be a great series. Personally though, I think West Sabine is a little bit deeper and should take it.

Anyone know what time? Know the series is at Jaycees Field (home of the SFA Lumberjacks) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (if necessary).......

If WS plays to their potential this series will be over in 2 games.  Joaquin is a good team but but WS hits better through the line-up and is more solid defensively.

Game rained out tonight. Game 1 tomorrow @6 with game 2 Saturday @ 2, with the if necessary game 30 minutes after game 2......

Saw on another site 1-1 in bottom of 8th. Joaquin scored tying run in bottom of 7th.

WS wins 4-1 in 9 innings. Game 2 tomorrow at 2 in Nacogdoches

WS starter Garrett Brown goes the route on a one hitter... Four errors killed Joaquin. Their starter Brock Lawson went 7 1/3 and was salty... Game two should be a doozy.......

Great job, sounds like a great pitching performance.

Joaquin's guy Lawson was pretty salty too. He went 7&1/3 himself. It seemed like every ball both teams hit found a fielder until the top of the ninth. There was a fan behind the  plate from Joaquin who DEFINITELY needed his blood pressure medicine. Watching his antics was almost as much fun as the game itself........

West Sabine wins 7-4 to sweep series. Will face #1 Douglass in Lufkin in a two out of three series at Morris Frank Park in Lufkin starting Thursday at 6pm.
