Guest ECBucFan Posted April 4, 2014 Report Posted April 4, 2014 EC loves playing our Chambers County neighbors Anahuac, but EC vs. H-F is by far the biggest rivalry. The Rice Bowl packs out every year, regardless of records. Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted April 4, 2014 Author Report Posted April 4, 2014 1. PNG vs. Ned. 2. Woodville vs. Warren (yes, I'm a homer :) ) Quote

eagleswoodville#1 Posted April 5, 2014 Author Report Posted April 5, 2014 From a community aspect, you have to go with Mid-County Madness. But from a players standpoint, I could make a great case for Warren/Woodville. When I played for Woodville from 2009-2012, it didn't matter what the score was. Every single play was a dog fight. Off the field, we were good friends and hung out all the time. On the field, we wanted to break every single bone of whoever was lined up across from us in Orange and Black. Off the field, there were no hard feelings at all. Purely friends and good vibes. But on the field, when you strap on the Orange and Black or Gold and Black, it got personal. Quote

Guess things have changed a little bit in Tyler County since I left...only people from Warren that were civil towards me were the ones I went to church with...but that changed a little bit after some of our guys snuck over and painted all the orange outline on their "W"s gold...and drew a certain body part on the field in gas to left it die Disclaimer: was in no way involved in it...but found out about it real quick when I walked through their gates (Woodville was on a bye) Quote
